In addition to meeting basic needs, The Salvation Army strives to provide programs that will help children thrive during crucial developmental years - from after school programs and summer camps, to childcare and toys at Christmas.

Summer Camp
Nestled at the base of Longs Peak in Estes Park, CO The Salvation Army's High Peak Camp provides children with a chance to experience the wonders of the great outdoors. Camp is sponsored through donations in the community.

In addition, The Salvation Army provides free transportation for those children who need a ride and serve a free dinner that evening.
